Have you seen the Chun Li is jealous videos? Where Chun Li is inserted into videos of people falling? Well with Power Director I was able to take a GIF of GOKU and have him do a Kamehameha wave. Only problem is I don't know how to add the "hit" effect look. The video is uploaded to my channel. The blast goes straight across the scene. I was told to use after effects. But I don't have a 64 bit CPU for the program. Is it possible to achieve the same level of effect with Power Director?

Great tutorial like always but this time knowing the basics on color correction and color-grading, excellent and hence is the reason for thumbs up and subscribing. Just a quick follow up on your comment on 24fps; if you are in the US then yes I 'd agree you need to set your video project to 24fps but here were we live in Europe 25fps or 30fps is the most recommended settings, hope you had mentioned that in your video not to confuse the EU viewers. I purchased the latest power-director 365 but do not see the color director in it, guess if it was an essential tool Cyberlink would have included it. I would have loved to see the integration of powerdirector 365 having the ability to export the video to Davinci for colorgrading and import it back to PD. One question remains for you; as you applied the color correction and color grading on a clip, how do you copy the correction from the corrected clips to all other matching clips on the entire movie? Thanks and best regards.
@PDU_Tutorials3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. To copy the grade right click the clip and select Copy keyframe attributes, select all the other clips on the timeline (lasso or crtl+ left click) right click a clip and select Paste keyframe attributes,

Can you do a tutorial on the go pro hero 3. I'm having trouble uploading to youtube. My quality is not the same apples for apples. I shoot in a 1080p I'm able to produce it back to the computer with no problem at all. but then when I upload it to youtube I see lines in it. and distortion as well, I'm thinking that youtube has a problem with a go pro file, It says it's and mpeg 4. so whats going on. You see a lot of youtube channels with go pro, and they look fine. Maybe it could be that Pinnacle and power director can't upload it correctly because the go pro hero 3 is to new. Try this out and see what you come up with. because I now your the best. I watch your youtube channel constantly. You taught me a lot. I really appreciate it. And thank's again for letting me ask. Are you using GoPro Cineform? If you are making any changes in GoPro Studio the files are being converted to Cineform which causes issues with some consumer level editors. This may be causing issues when uploading to KZbin as well. I don't really use my GoPro as much as I should so I admittedly would not be the best source for a tutorial. You should start off at the PD forum for help with the issue. forum.cyberlink.com/forum/forums/list/ENU.page

Thanks for the video Maliek. I watched this video hoping to get an answer to my problem but it was not covered. Could you please help? I have PD 13. I just produced my first video and saved it to my computer. I then watched it and it has visual noise all the way through every scene. My camera settings were fine and I could not see the noise when previewing the clips while editing. For color correction I used the Video Enhancement, then brought up the Contrast, Vibrancy and Sharpness a little ( I increased each by 3). Could the problem be the Video Enhancement? I noticed you did not use Video Enhancement on your tutorial. I did not do any Color Grading. Any help would be greatly appreciated bro. I video outdoors in the forest and open country. Thanks again. Dave
@PDU_Tutorials9 жыл бұрын
+meddice I really can't say what it is. The best place to address your issue would be the PD forum. They will need to ask you a lot of questions to help (file format, etc.). Please go to this link, register, and ask your question there. forum.cyberlink.com/forum/forums/show/87.page
@meddice9 жыл бұрын
+PowerDirector University Thanks for your super fast response. I found a quick way to fix the problem. I asked a mate who is smarter than me lol. There are quite a few out there lol. Hopefully this reply may help others. When I produced with Quicktime I had the "noise" issue. It looked like light rain was falling in my video. I changed from Quicktime to H.264 and the problem dissapeared. Apparently H.264 is also what KZbin uses so uploading my videos to KZbin should be smoother. I experimented with H.264 with 1280x720 24p as well as 1920x1080 24p. Both came up crystal clear. I may upload my video to KZbin using 1280x720. I know the HD is not as full on as 1920x1080 but it is a smaller file and uploads much quicker. Thanks again PDU. Great service guys and gals.

This tutorial is not called the "letterbox effect", it is called "how to create a cinematic film look" which is exactly what it does. If you want to know how to create a letterbox here are some tips for that. You can add a mask to the top and bottom of a single video clip. You can add black color boards on two tracks and move them to the top or bottom of the screen, then stretch them out to cover the entire project. Here are a few videos to show you some examples of how it can be done. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHO7poF9aL1mmas kzbin.info/www/bejne/moDMnnx9jN5ofcU
