Yep, when I'm creating, I have to have something on. I usually don't care if its music or spoken. I have tinnitus, & I need to have something to help keep the ringing in the ears from being overbearing when I'm painting. And I really had to chuckle. At one point I kept thinking 'needs more green" & at another 'needs splatter', and whaddya know, you did just that!
@BettyFranksArt3 жыл бұрын
Haha...I love that we were thinking the same! Sorry about your tinnitus. I can't imagine how difficult that must be for you. It's good that listening to something helps distract you from the ringing.
@BigMoepar3 жыл бұрын
@@BettyFranksArt we all learn to adapt. Sometimes its just a longer process to find out what you need to do to figure out how to manage something like tinnitus. Took a while to get hubby on board with some of it. Harder for him to realize just what makes it miserable, and to remember that. He's catching on.

Love your work, Betty. I plan to create a beautiful painting while watching this video and wanted to ask you a question. After finishing the painting, would I then be able to sell it as one of my own original works or would that not be allowed?
@BettyFranksArt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Deborah! Great question! Although it'll be your own original artwork since you created it, you'll be copying my style. I hope that you'll eventually find your own voice in your artwork. That being said, I have taken a workshop, created art using the techniques I learned, and then sold it. So, it's been done (by me and others), but it's not encouraged. Looking back, I realized that I shouldn't have sold those pieces. I hope that helps! Keep on creating!
