Thanks for the video, I found a way to export the puzzle as a pdf and edited as a vector file in affinity, without cropping.....the final outcome is a 89kb file.

to insert a word list create a themed dictionary, then "IMPORT FROM TEXT Document", and the file is A WordList file is a Unicode (UTF-8) file in which each line of text consists of one dictionary word, followed by one or more Space or Tab characters, followed by the clue.

Everytime I follow this exact process, it continues to produce only one crossword. I change the grid pattern and it still continues to do this. As a matter of fact, as I watch the building process, it produces the same puzzle that isn't even produced in the series of five. How do I change this?

You need to change the name where it says first puzzle or puzzle name as that is using the date and is overwriting your previous puzzles. So for each set give it a new name. Hope that helps.

Hi Anca. Select dictionary maintenance then go to the task menu and download dictionaries. From there you get a selection of dictionaries for different languages. The only problem is they are One language to English or English to another Language. An example is the words are in Spanish, while the clues are in English. Or vice versa. I am trying to see if I can make just one language.

Hi Nocolae. You are looking for Crossword Express folder. Rather than a program icon. You only need the VPN to access the website. Since you have installed it you do not need a VPN. Make sure you download and install Java. Java runs in the background. Hope this helps.

I have installed Java and I can see the message saying that the program for these puzzles has been downloaded and saved on the desktop, but there is nothing on my desktop. I have searched everywhere and repeating the process at least 10 times.... I do not know where could be the issue on my laptop. I will try again later this week with my husband maybe he succeeds it. I need to create a crossword game with an existing word list with each word having a value. I have the word list. The player selects a location, selects a word, selects up or down, and the word is populated and the word value is added to the total. 1 space must be between each word. The player is trying to get the highest score. How would you make this puzzle, I am calling it Towers Matrix. Thanks...bob

If this is for computer or a webpage game I would contact a programmer or look on code canyon to see if it hasn't already been done. If it is for a book I would probably create it in a spreadsheet. Similar to Kriss Cross game.

This is what takes the work in creating puzzle books. Either search for General knowledge questions and answers or invest in a Crossword Dictionary. You must rewrite the clues so that they are your own. So for example I found a question that asked Continental United States has 4 time zones, can you name them? Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern. I would change it to, Q: Which Time Zone is Florida based in? A: Eastern. Hope that helps,

It looks a great program. I can't see what they say about commercial use so I would ask them that question. I haven't used it as I am a Mac user and this is only for Windows.

Colouring books are time consuming but I really want to make my own but its taking a while because Im trying to create my own illustrations since I'm a self taught digital illustrator. Ah buggah thats what I forgot to do lol I forgot to just select only 5 templates at a time lol ohwell at least i got the hang of building my puzzle and solution dimensions lol I was so confused moving the boxes around and adding clue and solution boxes etc anyway lol i better go delete what i just did lol thank goodness it wasn't 5000 puzzles lmao

No, as it runs off a file on your computer. It is very difficult to run a business off just your phone, especially one that requires a lot of creativity.

I send him a video of what I was doing and he suggested I select standard dictionary 8i was selecting themed, and also use the first import option, not the wordlist option and that worked. He also thinks there is a way to put more than one solution on one page so we are hoping for that.
