Great video. I have a couple of things. 1. The redirect URL changes when you update the connector and includes the name of the connector. So that URL needs to be copied and used in the App Registration in order to work. 2. Custom Connectors require a premium license!! So that is something to mention in the video. Perhaps an update on how to assign the license.

can this be done without having a user login? i.e. with a preauthorised authentication token

Have you tried the independent publisher connector powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/details/shared_surexerolite/surexerolite-independent-publisher/

hi, has this feature been removed by Microsoft? I cannot find it anywhere in the documentation.
Congrats on 10,000 subscribers! Is there an api way of deleting a message posted to a channel. For instance, you posted a message with an attachment in this video, how would one delete/remove that? (Perhaps everyone in the world knows how to delete some obviously normal way, so if a non-api method exists, please advise.)

Hi Damo, thank you for your contribution, from a licence point of view, the custom connector still require "premium/crm" licence or it can be done via "365 regular E3 licence"?
@DamoBird3652 жыл бұрын
I couldn't confidently answer that question I am afraid. Licensing is not my area of expertise.

I don`t like `crm` sites.

Yet another fantastic demo! Thank you. You make it look easy to create custom connectors. I wonder how to make the custom connector have the little drop down boxes that the standard connectors have, where you can select the Team and the Channel - rather than posting their GUIDs? Also, maybe, a Flow can be created , without the need for a custom connector, to post the link to a file on OneDrive/SPO? The custom connector, in this demo, when posting the file in a chat message, triggers the autosave event for the attachment. That is, it, automatically, saves the file to SPO/OneDrive.

I like your thinking. I can maybe investigate and extend the original connector with a new video. Thank you for the idea John. Always appreciated.

Hey Damo, can we use this method to post a message in a personal teams chat? because I saw in the microsoft documentation we can send http request for message as well. For example, 'POST /chats/{chat-id}/messages'. Because I would like to upload attachment in personal teams chat instead of giving link to open file attachment.

I can't seem to post a message at all to a channel. I've tried with both work and person account. The error I get is Bad Request 400 - message: Resource not found for the segment 'channelName'. Any suggestions? Thanks for the video.

I am afraid I don't know the answer. Maybe one to check on the forum powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Forums/ct-p/FL_Comm_Forums.
