This is fantastic!! thanks so much Jamie! (only question is I followed this and the footer looks great but underneath the footer there is a line of white space (and I cannot see how to remove it as the custom footer has no space underneath it)

Hi, thanks for the tutorial, this really helped me make a half-decent footer. Only problem I've found is that while it looks good on a desktop, mobile version is a horror-show. Is there some custom CSS code which can make the footer scale in a more phone and tablet friendly manner?
