Hi, thanks so much for taking the time to go through this, you e done an amazing job. One thing I noticed is that for pixels conversion you need to use a DPI of 226 rather than the default of 96px/inch. This is because the remarkable has a screen resolution of 226.

So I just went ahead and ran the calculations. I believe the ideal dimensions for a Remarkable 2 template should be: 157.79 x 210.39 mm. this may be why @chriskoopsman7334 always had templates rendered in portrait on the device despite being landscape in PowerPoint. I’ve not tried it tho!

How do you create your daily planners under 100MB? I just made a note book in Canva with hyperlinks about 160 pages and is over 100 MB?

I'm not doing anything specific actually - I just make them and they are the size that they are.. sorry I don't know of a way to reduce the size of your files🥴

the vidoe skips when you were talking about guides. can you share what guides you use? It appears the are like margins, correct?

every document is different, and it depends what application you are using to make your templates.. here it looks like I used 22cm right margin and 21cm left margin - and if you check thru the video you can see the margins I'm using top and bottom too 👍🏻

Nice video! Just a question? What about if I upload a PDF to Remarkable 2 in order to use it for taking notes along the time? I would be able to add pages/slides in my remarkable or may I upload the PDF witch maybe 1000 pages (1000 days) to be sure of having enough time until upload another?

When in a PDF - you can add a blank page using the Left Menu / down the bottom in Notebook Settings👍🏻

when I make a template that is landscape on powerpoint (using your pixel conversations form this video) and use EInkPads Binder to load up it seems to always come out as Portrait ?? What an I doing wrong?

Hi Chris.. When you open your document on your reMarkable -have you changed the orientation to Landscape mode?

Yes but all it does is move the tool bar down to where it should be for landscape but the document is still in portrait

Why can't I just drag and drop a template into the remarkable app on my mac? That's how I put my .pdfs on. Is there something that I'm missing about making things templates?

its because rM have written their software on both the Tablet and in the Apps so that you can only transfer PDF's... that's why you need a 3rd Party App to transfer PNG templates...
