How to Create a Custom Woocommerce My account Page?

Nice video! :) But I am a bit confused about this! Is the My account section for the admins of the shop/site or is it for your customers to create a customer account?! ANd if it is for your customers, how do they create an account?

It mainly for your customers so that they can manage their orders etc. See the docs here woocommerce.com/document/the-my-account-page/ To enable registration on My Account page you need to navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Account and enable registration on the "My Account" page. Also, be sure that under you have enabled "everyone can register" under Wordpress settings.

Any idea why the woocommerce "My Account" page is missing the navigation sidebar on the left? I have tried recreating my account page and it still loads without the dashboard on the left.

Clear all you caches (browser, server etc) and delete custom CSS related to the My account page. See whether this helps.

Thanks for the wonderful tutorial Janek. Could you please do a tutorial on overlapping images and columns as well. I'm not finding it anywhere. I know we can use CSS and add a z-index. However, I am assuming that we can do it without adding CSS code manually. Also if you can add another video for recommended Gutenberg plugins that would be great. Also, I did notice that you were able to add or decrease the padding using the mouse. How was that? Please do let us know Thanks again for the wonderful tutorial.

Hi, In the near fututre I have no plans on making a video on overlapping images. As for the Gutenberg plugins: I use only Kadence Blocks. This one allows me to increase/decrease padding in a way you saw in the video.

I just have one question: I followed your tutorial and it works fine but if i logg out on the Wordpress Page on the "Login and register" Page there still are all of the tabs. This should not be, right? How can I remove the content of logged in things so Users not logged in cant see them? Thanks a lot!!

Woocommerce has an option to let users create an account during the checkout or on the My account page.

@@wpsimplehacks Well, content from a web page or, a template/global etc. called by a new custom link in the My Account Menu. For example, I have content that is Quiz results from only lessons that I want to show in My Account but so far, I have only been able to open it in a new page rather than just load into the dashboard as the standard Woo content does.

If your quiz plugin allows you to use shortcodes to display results, then you can display them inside the custom my account tab. If it doesn't then it's much harder and I would suggest you to find a developer to see whether it can be done.

when you click on your courses you go straight to learndash focus mode .. how do you do that?

Actually there are two clicks. First on the course name opens up course page. Second click on the lesson name opens up focus mode. It's a standard LD behaviour.
