I think you need a bit of basic understanding of how everything works... but it is a good way to learn things and see how things are working by creating something. You can not lose, you can only get more understanding, even if your first project doesn't work, maybe the second or third will work ;)

The author name is: ChatGPT… Description: No skill required. Result: Folk pasting code they have no idea how to check… Hmm great idea. Why not promote ChatGPT to help people learn to actually code as opposed to simply copying and pasting..

Additionally, if you understood the code ChatGPT gave you would have seen the section where it checks the user’s permissions that is logged in before displaying anything so wouldn’t have fumbled through the next section.

@@wakandaPeter of course and I get that. But this video claiming that ChatGPT will do away with the repository is ridiculous. That combined with advising users to just use the generated code without understanding how it works or what potential security issues un sanitised code can cause is irresponsible at best.

@@Simulacra001 I see where you're coming from. I've been coding for good part of a decade. But ChatGPT just got 2 weeks of code done for me in 30 minutes. I don't have the most thorough understanding of Wordpress development but have been coding long enough I can learn as I go and adapt what I need to. This is game changing but it's definitely important to learn how to code first.
