Hi! Thanks for this tutorial. Can you help me with something, do we need to set up an automation rule when setting up the “collect emails”?

Hey! So, I actually had to duoble-check with systeme support. Just to collect an email, there is no automation needed (let's say it's a signup for a newsletter and there is no deliverable). If you want to have some sort of email automation where you deliver the lead magnet right after they sign up, I'd recommend replacing the "collect emails" option with "External link/url" and just link to your landing page/lead generation funnel for full functionality. They assured they'll work on more robust automation in the near future, but for now it's kind of limited in that sense. Hope this makes sense, let me know!

@ thanks for responding. I guess I’m confused because just to collect emails is fine, but I’ve tested with my own email to see if it is added to contacts and it isn’t.

That's interesting because it works on my end (just double-checked before responding to you). Maybe try an email you haven't used before so it shows up a the top of your new contacts list? Does it still not show up?

You're welcome! A website built under the blogs section gives you more flexibility but there's nothing wrong with replacing it with the digital store just to have something in place right away 👍

Hey. Thanks for the tutorial. I'm trying to set up a freebie in the digital store but when I create a zero price plan, it won't allow it, has to be at least 0.01. Any idea how to offer a freebie in the store or do I need to create a funnel in the main account and add to the store as a link?

Hey Jenny, for a freebie it would probably be simpler to do the "Collect emails" option as opposed to "Sell a digital download".
