Love David Tutera. This kit looks fabulous. My only suggestion is to use an anti static tool before you stamp with the Versafine and embossing powder. Thank you for sharing your creativity. With practice you will become more confident filming. Awesome job.

I'm completely blown away that she left all that excess embossing powder on there!! And I noticed on the other sample there was also a spot with excess powder. Come on now Sizzix, this would not look good at a wedding table. You should be showing the viewers how to get the best results possible, and this isn't it. Someone like myself or the other person that pointed it out because we are experienced in stamping and embossing would know how to fix and even prevent or minimize the problem from happening in the first place by using an anti-static powder tool on the paper first, and then using a small paintbrush to carefully remove any stray specks of powder BEFORE heat setting it. On the other hand, viewers that are NOT experienced in stamping or even crafting at all would follow your directions and maybe be unhappy with the result and not know any better. I've been a Sizzix owner since way back with the red machine about 18 years ago! One other tip--and nit picky thing that makes me crazy watching these videos is how much paper you waste by just placing your dies wherever on the paper, like the small flowers that you put around the propeller flowers as you called them. It only takes a second to place your die next to a previously cut spot instead of just anywhere and wasting beautiful paper. I would LOVE to see tips like this in your videos in the future.

Can you cut felt with these to make these flowers? Or only paper?

Hi Patty! The thin metal dies or Thinlits will only cut through paper of various weights. For cutting through felt, you'll want to look for steel rule dies, which are thicker and more powerful for cutting fabric. Hope this helps!
