some easy things seem really complicated in Rive, but great to see it evolving!

thanks for the clear and precise tutorial👏. i had to watch so many times to understand this concept but finally understood by working out in real time. 🤠

Thanks for breaking it down.. but still would be useful showing how to set it up for us newbies.. are the tracking and detect elements just "targets"... ok, empty rectangles... slowly figuring it out.

i followed this tutorial 5 times and did exactly what you did but for some reason any sort of mousedown or mouseup trigger is not setting the isDragging boolean to true and false. the state machine only goes to tracking when i manually click off and on the isDragging boolean in the panel

I think we could have solved this problem more easily at 5:50. In the layer where the transition from "end location idle" to "end location" takes place. In the transition between states, we could add an additional condition to ensure that the input isDraging is true.

Why doesn't Rive have a simple "Save, "S"" command for saving a project?
@Rive_appАй бұрын
Rive automatically records every change you make. Using Revision History you can access previous revisions or create a new one with a different name.

Can this be exported to a website like wix?

is there a way to restrict the dragging to a certain pixels only, for instance I just want the 'Dragable object' to be dragged only in X axis to a certain distance only. Is there are way to do it ??
@rishmitpuri73136 ай бұрын
never mind, I was able to solve it via constraints option in the inspector :))
@thanhlam2415 ай бұрын
@@rishmitpuri7313 Can I ask how exactly do you do it with the constraints? I am facing the same issue here.

Thanks what app is this and what programming language
@j814-o5o10 ай бұрын
This is RIVE, a software primarily meant for interactable and adaptive animations, like games or menus etc. There is no programming language here exactly it's just RIVE State Machines. There are plenty of tutorials like this one from RIVE and other KZbin Channels.
