I get so many questions about things like making Monday the first day of the week, or putting months side-by-side instead of on top or each other, or asking why a certain formula doesn't work for someone. Very helpful, even in 2023. Thank you so much for sharing this. I followed the tutorial because I wanted to see if I could do it my self. I changed the colors and and sizes of the borders. I messed up towards the end with the shading, and it saved and had to start over, but it wasn't too bad. Thanks again. :)

They've just switched me to a Mac and won't purchase a license for MS Publisher so I've been looking for an alternative. For the linked calendar, how do you list multiple events on the same date? For example, if Event 1 and Event 2 take place on 6/1/2020, how do you make it so the calendar for that date lists both events on calendar cell 6/1/2020? Thank you for your help!

Hey I really hope you reply! I watched your video it helped me a lot with creating a calendar for the coaches at my job! When I want to write something under a day how can I write multiple things in separate text boxes. Or hit enter without it going to a new box just to separate the events under one day? It all types as one paragraph.

If you need multiple cells per day, it would have to be designed with that in mind from the outset. If you just want multiple lines of text in a single cell, end each line by pressing Alt-Enter instead of just pressing Enter.

Hi! I have a problem with my calendar I was hoping to get the solution for. You know how when you typed in a different month and year at the top, the calendar automatically changed and the days would appear for that month? What if I have more than 1 event happening on the same day? Let's say "7/4 Acopy delivery" and "7/4 Testing start". The current setup will show only one cell's description. I want the 1st of every month to reflect that rent is due, but when I add it to the 1st of a month, when I move onto the next month, it is there, but in the same cell, rather than on the specific date that I am wanting. In the sample/template I provided, there is a tab along the bottom called "2019 - 3x4". Click on that, and you'll see an example showing exactly what you're trying to do. Basically some of the references need to be updated to account for the column offset. I'd recommend just making a copy of the template and modifying it to your needs.

Hi! I have completed my calendar following your tutorial and it works for the Month/year of March 2019. However, when i type in a different month like you did, April, June July, or any other month/year, the calendar will display the 1 on the correct day, however the days after the 1 disappear. Can anybody help me. I've gone into the working template provided, and noticed that the entered formulas are a little bit different than initially instructed on the tutorial. I need some help so I can make a School/subject calendar for my son being home schooled due to Covid-19.

Hi Ben, This is such a nice tutorial. I only have one issue... I started my Calendar in Jan. 2023 and the 1st on the year starts on a Sunday. I followed all of your steps and made the adjustment where necessary because I'm starting in 2023. When I went to change the month to Feb. or Mar. , all days before the 1st of each month except Sunday say FALSE. Any way you can help me correct this? Thank you
