I'm curious why when your done it forces you to upload the font you just made to some random website just to get it. It's like they steal it from you the second you finish creating it. What if someone wants to create a font and sell it? What if that font sells well, and down the road this random place you initially sent your font to decides to be like hey, we have the rights to that font. Gimmie the money

You're right :/ I do sell some fonts and I also don't understand why to export the font it needs to go through a web address...

@@DanyGiletto I have a unique font idea. Do you suggest me guys avoid going through iFontMaker? I kinda have 0 trust in what I read you experienced. None should share their work through any method.

Bought it and have been wondering how to import svg into it, I think I know how, but would be nice to have a way to just "import" down by the right corner, to add whatever symbols or glyphs you want to have. For example. I was thinking on making symbols that are very very detailed around its corners. I find it hard to actually draw them. Also, a mirror feature so I can make I A H Y O V X W T or symbols symmetrical. Thanks

I went back to iFontmaker and have not seen any way to import like you say it. It sure would be a real time saver if you want to import designs from elsewhere directly into the characters :/

I’m trying to create a letter which can merge/overlay with the & symbol. Would this app be able to do it?
@DanyGiletto Жыл бұрын
Do you mean if your font is done you type "&" on your keyboard and you get whatever letter you drew? In that case then yes, you just need to draw the specific letter you want in the "&" slot in the app, and it will register as such

Why is nobody showing how to use the pen tool to create the A for example. The rest of it is easy. J is easy. How do we make the A with the pen tool?
@DanyGiletto4 жыл бұрын
The only way I found to just make it in one stroke was to make the middle bar have some overlap with the side bar. Or else I also tried to make it in two steps, first the reverse V and then create a new path for the - in the middle. When exported with these two strokes I didn't find any problem with the font, even by transforming it. It's the same when you use the brush, if you slow down or make harsh angle changes, it will automaticcaly create different strokes, but this doesn't seem to affect how the font is used when exported as a font file. I hope I was clear enough ^^' it's kinda hard to explain just with words, but just don't worry, and use multiple paths with the pen tool to create your A

@@DanyGiletto Thank you so much! I understand. You did a great job and knowing that there aren’t any problems tells me that it only cares about what the final image looks like. I just remember, or think I do, that I accidentally subtracted a piece from another piece. Maybe I was dreaming. You would think they would have added that in there by now. It’s been a while since I’ve used this. I thought I would start making some fonts again. I Chavez so much more control with the pen tool and if they would just take the time to put that feature in there, if it’s not there and if it is, make it a bit more clear. Again, Thank you.
