@@RDWglass well I feel it is important to let people know when they help others. You never know how you impact people's lives just by the little things we do. The little things to us are so big to others. Keep being the good

Does it get below freezing where you live? How do you keep warm in a shed? I also do my glass work in a large shed.
@RDWglass9 ай бұрын
Hello friend, it does not . I am in Florida, so luckily, it never gets too too cold. We have some cold days but nothing intense. We have brought heaters into the studio when it gets too cold, but we also have an AV unit hooked up that does cold or hot air . Thank you for watching the videos, and I hope you have a great week. Stay safe ,Happy melting .

I enjoy the content that you are producing and the knowledge that you share as well. I been using a GTT Bobcat and Boro for 2yrs now when I started with Soft glass and Hothead torch. Now I'm wanting to move to a 2 stage torch and add a hand torch too. What way would you suggest to hook up both of those?
@RDWglass9 ай бұрын
Hello mate, I appreciate your support greatly. GTT is a great company, and the Bobcat is a sweet torch. We had a soft glass area at Zen Glass Studio, where I learned how to blow glass , soft glass is supper fun to work with and be a part of a crew working making something is a great experience. When hooking up a 2 stage torch and a hand torch , what you will need is multiple y splits, and always remember flashback receptors before the lines go into your tanks . Here is a link for y splits . www.mountainglass.com/Y-Connector-For-Oxygen-Standard-B-Size-Fittings If you look through mountainglass.com, you'll be able to find foot petals too that can turn on and off your gasses with a step , those are supper dope . Have a great week stay safe , Happy melting.

I just found your page Friday. I reply enjoy your work and tutorials. One quick question. What is your firing schedule on the kiln for your pieces? Keep up the good work.
@RDWglass9 ай бұрын
Hello mate thank you very much for checking out my videos. I have my kiln set to be on for 6 hours each time I turn it on. I will make things throughout that 6-hour cycle and then I turn the Kiln off. I like to have anything I make sit in there for at least an hour at full heat, which is 1050° f . For prep, any prep I'm going to be working on that day goes in the kiln before I turn it on that way it will warm up with the kiln , I don't like taking any cold glass and putting it directly into the kiln at its full temperature I've had too many things crack like that. Thank you for your support. Stay safe and happy melting .😊
