This spectacular. Thank you for this run thru. Do you know how to sync with digital film camera (RED or blackmagic)? I want to use that camera(s) as the real world camera to feed to unreal. I want to use this process to overlay VFX around a real eclipse and have assets coming from around it.

Great tutorial! A question. After recording the scene and opening recoreded level sequence why all the options in sequencer are grayed out? I cannot clik on +TRACK, cant change FPS (it is fixed to 30, all other options grayed out), add new options whatsoever. Been watching your whole video front to back couple of times and just cant figure it out. Would you know how to fix it or why is it so? Thanks in advance

After you save the scene you record, does the sequencer give you the option to take just the camera motion (like the shakes and walking steps) out, and be able to move the camera wherever you want the path to be in your scene?

I was wondering about this as well, there is a way to smooth out key frames in blender but I haven’t figured out in unreal yet. My workaround is to enable stabilization on the app UI before recording the camera movement

U have to buy them . Cost around $80. Its on marketplace. My wifi connection is whack so when it records i get drop outs and it records these, so very glitchy :(. But thats a fault at my end.

I was wondering if anybody can help me? For some reason my iPhone will not show up on the live link menu under source and I am not able to move the camera with the movements of the phone, but if I go under v-cam under and created virtual camera2 and select "is active" and "enable" I'm able to access control settings from my my iPhone (but still no control over movement). Ideas?

Same problem! Iphone can show up image from UE5 but in livelink panel its dont show up message to connect with iphone

Make sure you are connected to Wifi on both devices. Had the same problem where I was connected with ethernet on the PC.

@@ghostofakina8747 Thank for reply! I have solved my problem. In my case, when i connect my PC and Phone at the same Wifi it didnt work, but when switch internet connect on PC to cable from router, and phone still connect by wifi, it work! Dont know how, dont know why, just work XD

Is it working this smooth for you consistently? We tried this tonight and it was an absolute nightmare with zero success. Troubleshot for literally 3 hours. Phone won't connect to vcam period. Only way we would even get it to show up is setting the vcam app wifi setting to remote and all that did was make it show up in UE. You haven't experienced this? The forums are riddled with this same issue and so far as we can tell there is not a fix.

It depends on your hardware tbh

Go to the settings on the phone app, then change the connection type to "Remote Session". I was able to get my phone to show up after than and then you can change it back to "Pixel Streaming" and it works great. On UE5.1, iPhone 12 Pro, Live Link vCam v1.3.0 (11). Hopefully this will help you troubleshoot.

95% of people have Android phone. Please find ways to present these great things with more popular smartphone platform. For majority of people is about buying a 600 USD or 1000 USD iphone for Unreal only.

There isn't an Android solution like live link I am an android user and bought the iphone out of necessity. If an android option is available I will of course make a video on that.
