I am a very introvert person, my coaches say we gotta get used to being out of our comfort zone to win big, I'm just starting to digest this new world of information and ways to connect with new people. I'm so scared and I don't have great achievements yet but I need to form my team and basically we will be getting trained and growing toguether, after watching this video I can see that I have nothing to brag about; but I need to recruit and connect with people in my area, does LinkedIn has a beginner level?

I really hate that so much emphasis is placed on the profile picture. An image of yourself should be sufficient, when you start needing head shots to attract potential employers, beware. Who wants to work for a narcissistic company anyway. I don't spend all day looking at myself in the mirror or worrying what people think of my shoes, I am focused on working and improving a business, if they are focused on looks, then they had better be in the fashion industry.

Hey John! You certainly do not need a professional headshot! I always recommend a friend + a phone to take a good photo. There is a lot of psychology around why good photos are important but good doesn't at all mean it needs to cost you any money or take you more than 5 minutes. Max Zakk, great question! I know it’s a major concern of most graduates but it doesn’t have to be. Simply because companies know you’re a recent graduate which means you won’t have a ton of experience by default. So where you set yourself apart during the interview process is when you show your passion for the job position and for the company. Your energy will set yourself apart from the others. On a side note, both for your resume and your job interview, what they will want to see is that you’ve been involved in extra curricular activities during your studies. Any kind of committees, projects, or volunteering you have done will be a great way to show your skills and leadership potential. If you didn’t get involved in any extra curricular activities during your college, then don’t worry. Sign up to volunteer in projects that are related to the field that you would like to get in. Any experience is better than nothing. Another option is to get an internship under your belt, that will give you access to opportunities and also give you another experience to talk about.
