For 2007 version people, try placing where you want the text to end, then press Custom Animation, then press Crawl In, then press from left or right, then go to Effect Options and go to Timing, press the Speed bar and place it for 10.0 seconds.

does the scroll time change as the text in question get longer. The more words = more delay time?

+mario benavidez PowerPoint doesn't adapt the time, thus if you take 1 second for a long text it will way too fast. For the delay time, just take half of the animation time.

Almost what Im looking for. I wanna loop 2 groups of logotypes and I want them to stop for a while before moving out of the screen. +jin Ali yeah, you need to set the animation to "after previous" instead of "on click". (should be on the top to right, in the aniamations tab). To check if it worked, the number next to the element should now be "0" instead of "1".

it didn't work. the second line of text was slightly overlapping the last part of the first text. had 10 seconds for the first and 10 sec. and 5 sec delay for the second.
