@Goodly Chandeep, do you know creating a measures table to host all calculations mean that if an end user wants to see underlying data. They would never be able to because measures coming from Measures table only show aggregated numbers. If measures stay in relevant tables, then underlying data access becomes possible. Do you know how to tackle this?

thank you Chandeep , please can you explain how we use the dynamic segmentation to do an aged balance ( for customer) by defining rules for example (Last 30 days; Between 31 and 60 days;Between 61 and 120 days;Between 121 and 180 days....) thanks in advance

Hi, you need a column or measure that calculates the difference between today’s date and the transaction to determine the age of the balance. Then you can define the rules for each segment by creating a measure that assigns balances to different buckets based on the calculated age. Now, you can create a measure that sums the balance for each category. 😅

I hope they update Fabric to be able to create a table easily without using a notebook. Great tip here though. Didn't know about the [ Measures] = {Blank()} Brilliant!

Hiding Column1 will pin the measures table on top and change the table icon to a calculator

How can I do this in a direct lake model where I can only rely on lakehouse tables ?

you can use a notebook or sql to create an empty table in your lakehouse. search for "How to create Measure Tables in Microsoft Fabric"

Q&A works best if the measures are in the relevant table and NOT in a dedicated measures table.
