How do you plan your thoughts? Do you use mind mapping or any other tools?

Mind mapping is a great tool. Joseph Rodrigues is a KZbinr who makes a great use of these

Mind maps are great -- they take me back to grade school :) A good way to build these digitally would be with a tool like Figma.

These are really good tips to remember the essentials of what you need to say! Keeping these result based items in mind (ie: what do you want people to do, to know, to feel) etc, makes you less focused on the actual words and more focused on the goal!
@VickyZhaoBEEAMP4 жыл бұрын
Totally! We end up improving anyway so might as well focus on the important things. It's the worst when I'm editing and realized I forgot to make a point 😂

So true its all about emotions. People remember how you made them feel, not so much what you said!

Love the way you mapped this out! Mindmaps have always made me cross-eyed... I'm not sure if I'll use this approach, but I LOVE watching your process, so interesting! I script out my KZbin scripts and use a teleprompter... except for my yoga videos, where I'm simply just teaching based off a sequence I mapped out before shooting.

Back in my teaching days, I used mind maps for alllll my history lessons. So useful for me and the students.

History is probably one of the best use cases! I'm using it for my note taking in philosophy and I really don't think I can tell the philosophers apart if I didn't organize them with this haha 😂

This is awesome. I do plan and script my videos in advance but I often run into the problem where I think of something when I’m editing and I don’t want to re-so the whole thing. I think the process you’ve outlined here will really help. Subscribed! Thanks so much for sharing!

@@VickyZhaoBEEAMP Great question. Actually we would write lists and sometimes do flow charts (I am an IT geek) so in a way we did do mindmaps. you structure it well here!
