On another note: • Parent Light to Bone: in Object mode select the light - Shift select the bone (the parent to be) - go in Pose mode - select the bone segment to parent to - Ctrl+P to parent the bone - choose Bone in the pop-up. That's it. Hope it helps. Credits to Rant13 at BlenderArtists.org - post from June 2010. Works in Blender 2.82.7

I've been working on this all week after seeing someone else do this tutorial on Reddit. I have avoided these because my love is fashion art, and I can only find tutorials on swords and dragons 90% of the time. And the fashion industry is BEGGING for Blender stuff especially during COVID ( I know this because one of my friends is a wedding dress designer and has been in a panic, asking me if I can recreate her dresses and animate them. I could create them, not animate them..not until now thanks to Grants Tutorials). I just haven't been able to find tutorials on what I need. I subbed to you long ago, but hadn't really looked until now. I thought, what the hell, I'll try it, what have I got to lose. I'm *very* happy with what I've learned! When I started in the gaming industry, I wanted to make games (still do, but that's another comment) and I had a job interview the day Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. I live in Houston and we had to evacuate before the hurricane behind Katrina hit us. We came back home fine, but I had less than 8 hours to finish building a level in Unreal Engine...2 (lol). I had no idea what I was doing but I got something ugly put together and got the job. But THIS here that I've made (learning from you) is what set out to make for that interview and is I saw in my head. I always wanted to come back and do it just the way I saw it (with a little Grant Abbitt twist). I am still working on it and I have a little more to add to it, but extremely happy with the results. AND it will apply to the fashion things I want to make. You are an awesome teacher! Everything is so clear and easy to understand. You explain everything, again, straight forward, not once have I been confused or frustrated while going through this with you. And your voice is so soothing. Thank you! I can put this little piece of my soul to rest and go on to the next awesome thing. TLDR -Thank you Grant, you're awesome!
