I'm hosting gophish on a VPS (Virtual Private Server) so all you see in the video is publicly available no need to change anything just replicate what I did (you won't be able to access my server tho, it no longer exists 😉 ) . If you have any other question I'm happy to help Also remember not to do that without you "target's" permission.

You mean the IP in the email? Just host the malware itself on a server somewhere. You may use the same one you use for gophish.

Dont rely on youtube videos. Theres so much documentation out there to use. These people are literally just copying the instructions from the github readme markdowns and running the tools in a stretched out 20 minute video because its easy money to get from suckers who want to "learn hacking" and requires little to no effort. None of these people have much else to offer other than reading the tutorials for you and gaslighting you into thinking youll never find that information without them. All it takes is one google search lmao

one of 2 things: the firewall is blocking the connection or you haven't changed the address in the config.json

Make sure to connect with https not http with the VPS IP (just type IP:PORT). If that won't help double check if you've set up everything else right. It's crucial for gophish. Ask if you need anything elses.

I think this is an issue with SMTP server not gophish itself. Maybe this will help you: github.com/gophish/gophish/issues/2632
