55cm...cake perimetre 3,5cm.... widht of one box 55/3,5 = 15,7....number of points on top, but its not a integer so you can choose: 1. 55/15 = 3,66cm box 15 points with 3,6cm distance 2. 55/16 = 3,43cm box 16 points with 3,4cm distance

You have to measure round the cake then divide it up to roughly the size you want

Very nice indeed - however I think that 'Cake Queen Tanya's' KZbin channel is a much quicker method, where the diamond squares are marked out on the fondant before she covers her cake - but well done.
