Interested in thoughts on SAC compared with PowerBI and Tableau

Hi, sorry I am very new to SAP dashboard and have very basic powerBI knowledge. May I ask how does the data get linked into SAP dashboard? If i am already using SAP BW can it be done so that the dashboard always shows the live data?

Hi Yaohun, It's can be done through a BW live connection and from that model you can have parameters in your dashboard when are super useful to speed up the data load. There are dashboard functionality limitation of the live connection though. When I implemented live SAC dashboards in a commercial setting I had someone build the BW models for the live connection so dont know much more than I found the model in connections and built out the front end but I have experience connecting to Big Query directly.

If you go in to create a stories you should then underneath create new.. Otherwise you can create a structure yourself and save as a template
