0:15 I'd like to point out that Minor Illusion (in 5e, anyway, if they're using a different system then I'm probably wrong) is, rules as written, only able to make stationary, purely visual or purely auditory illusions which lack physicality. However, the sexy rat created by Emily's character was capable of interacting with the real world, moving from its initial spot, and making noises. As such, it can only be concluded that Emily's creation of the sexy rat was blasphemous enough to prompt a minor blessing from some dark god hidden within the dark recesses of the divine sewer systems, allowing it to violate the rules of magic as a reward for fufilling their undoubtedly gross will.

There's nothing in the wording of Minor Illusion that states it's stationary. The rules only state that: - it must be either purely visual or purely auditory - be created within the 30ft range - visual illusions must be no larger than 5 feet square - auditory illusions may be no louder than a scream or softer than a whisper - interacting with a visual illusion or observing it with a DC15 investigation check breaks the illusion Moving the rat doesn't necessarily break it, but it shouldn't have made a sound. Also, Brennan, despite being a very rules-lawyery person, only abides by a couple of rules when he's DMing: Rule 0, and Nat 20's must be honored.

I’ve been playing D&D since 2nd Edition AD&D, and it was like something out of a video game brought to the table.
