Thanks! is there a way to populate several cells at the same time? I am working on a huge building and with a simple schedule like this!

Hi Karen. My apologies for only getting around to responding now. In Revit natively, out of the box, no. It tends to be a cell by cell selection. That being said, you can use an export to excel function and infill all the data in Excel, then reload after the fact and it would be much more expedient. I have a different video which discusses this process using one of the DiRoot tools if you would like to see it in action. Niall

Great video, Is possible to add in the schedule m3 of concrete? if I wish to do a schedule for foundations o the structure of any building, thanks in advance

Yes Larry, but it will be a calculated value depending on the shape of the foundation. Volume is a standard enough value for most scheduling but if you have any none cubic founds then you will need to create a custom parameter which calculates the volume required by each foundation.

My rooms aren't being populated on the column. Do you have any idea why?

Is there no way to automate this in a clever manner based on the structure of a floor/wall/roof so it reports the finish material set in that structure?

There is. That was noted at the start of the video that this particular format is for early project development. You can create a room finishes schedule that reports the finishes placed within the model for later project stages.

I would love to see how to make a reporting schedule
@8020BIM4 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa, that can be created for sure so make sure to stay tuned. It involves quite a bit more work to report as you have to model the material finished throughout, so it depends on ypur contractual obligations setout by the EIR and BEP for your poeject, with considerations to the LOD requirements. That being said, modelling finishes should be done for IFC and COBie outputs. I'll aim to create a video /blog post on this soon. Regards Niall
