Would this work for plyometrics?Like lateral barrier jumps, ankle jumps? Not depth jumps or shock training. But instead of using the measuring device that inserts to a bar,i will use a camera on a phone and use an app that can capture split second of frame?

can use force plates for jumps - tests peak power, relative power, peak force, peak velocity, rate of force developed, impulse, and flight time.

"Track velocities at given percentages on your way to a 1RM" Does this mean that you need to already have a 1RM for that athlete? If you have an athlete for whom you do not already have a 1RM, does this mean that you first need to test and establish a 1RM and then test again using percentages to build a velocity profile?

A 1rm is a daily thing it represents the most you can do, you don’t need to have an established all time maximum to test your daily best.

@@WilFleming1K Thank you for responding! One last question; does this mean that every training day you test up to a 1RM and then do percentage based working sets after that?
