Just FYI, Tim Holtz has a product called Distress Glaze that is not analogous to matte or gloss mediums, nor does it have any color or tint to it. Distress Glaze is completely clear and is used to seal Distress Inks and Oxides (and even regular watercolors) against water and anything else that could reactivate them. While matte and gloss mediums are used to seal projects colored with acrylic paint, they can reactivate Distress Inks and Oxides. Additionally, Distress Glaze is not a glue like matte/gloss medium and it has the consistency of a thin wax.
