Go to general settings and unclick this : Disable Elementor Page Builder Templates in Starter Templates (which is harder to see) 2. I'm glad you found the information helpful. Starting fresh with your installation sounds like a good plan. After you've set up WooCommerce, here's how to add the 'Store' option to your menu on Home page: 1. Go to Appearance > Menus in your WordPress dashboard. 2. Look for 'Shop' or 'Products' in the available menu items (usually under 'Pages'). 3. Check the box next to it and click 'Add to Menu'. 4. Save your menu. If you don't see these options, make sure WooCommerce is activated and you've run through its setup wizard.

Hi Tyler, While creating the website, I encountered a problem when I tried to edit the 'SHOP' page: "The preview could not be loaded." Do you have a solution for this?

Have you tried the classic "turn it off and on again" approach? Sometimes just refreshing the page or logging out and back in can do the trick. If that doesn't work, here are a few other things you could try: Try switching to a default WordPress theme temporarily. If it works then, we know it's probably an Astra issue. Deactivate all your plugins except Elementor and WooCommerce. Then reactivate them one by one to see if there's a conflict. Clear your browser cache and cookies. It's amazing how often this solves weird issues! If you're still stuck after trying these, your best bet would be to reach out to Astra's support team.

I am editing my wordpress website with elementor. I am trying to copy a section from another website and paste it into my website through elementor, but it will not work. It should work, but it keeps showing the error that says: "Make sure that both sites are updated to last version of Elementor and have enabled the features relevant to the copied element before trying again." I updated my elementor to the latest version, but it still will not work. What do I do to be able to paste the other website's section into mine.

Hey! Let's try to fix that copy-paste issue: Check if both sites use the same Elementor version (free or Pro). Make sure both sites have the same features enabled. Go to Elementor -> Settings -> Features, and check it. Try copying smaller parts of the section. Clear your browser cache or try a different browser. As a last resort, you might need to recreate the section manually. Remember, you can always use the other site as inspiration if direct copying doesn't work.

Hi and many thanks for this great job Tyler! I truly appreciated this tuto. ;) Things consistently change and today, if you opt in for the Astra Theme, it comes with Spectra! So if you happen to choose a template from the Starter Sites plugin, you can't opt for Elementor that easily anymore. I first thought I could disable and delete the Spectra builder, but the problem stayed the same : if you wanna choose one of these templates (yours or the others), the installation of the Starter Sites plugin tends to reinstall Spectra just the same. There might be a way to work with Elementor without Spectra, but I still haven't found how to do that (while keeping the Astra theme). I finally got Elementor to work instead of Spectra, but I had to proceed to different tests. Apparently, you can still choose Elementor, but it is almsot hidded on the top right corner of the Starter Site first page. Well, it'd be much easier if there would just one builder.

I have practiced enough that I decided to start building my actual site, and reset my WordPress with the WP-reset plugin, I reached the point of changing the permalink and it will not change to post name it will change to every other choice but not post name. When I chose Post Name it give a 404 Error code. NEVER MIND I FIXED IT... CLEARED THE CASH AND COOKIES.... UH DUH

Hi Tyler, I added a new section and inserted an image into the left column in the new section. When I try to add a button, it will only add to the right or the left of the column, then creates a new column next to the image column for the button. Hey Anthony! I gotta say, without seeing your screen, it's a bit tricky to picture exactly what's going on. Elementor can be a bit finicky sometimes, right? Here's a little workaround you might want to try: Instead of adding the button directly, try creating a new section inside your image column. Make this new section one column wide. Now, add your image to the top of this new section. You should be able to add the button below the image in this same section. If that doesn't do the trick, another option is to use the 'Inner Section' widget. It works kind of like a section within a column and gives you more control over layout. Still having trouble? You might need to check your column settings. Sometimes the content alignment can affect where you can place things. Here's a thought: Have you considered posting your question on the Elementor support forum? If you could include a screenshot and maybe a link to your site, those folks might be able to give you a more precise answer. They're pretty good at solving these kinds of puzzles.
