HostGator web hosting is a one click install solution and my videos are designed for students with no technical experience. XAMPP on the other hand is an Apache Distribution for Linux, Solaris, Windows, and Mac OS X and possibly a free method to provide your own webhost hosting, but you would need to learn how to install WordPress manually in that environment. I have done it before, but it is not a good solution for beginners.

Hi WebYoda, when I try to install a theme it tells me i need to have a business subscription... I already upgraded to pro to get more themes but this was a waste of money. Did they change it recently or am I doing something wrong?

It sounds like your hosting is not with HostGator as I have never seen that before message before. However regardless of who your hosting company is, if you are starting your website from scratch, I suggest first deleting all the plugins since the host provider may have added a plugin that is spawning the fake need for a business plan. If you are not with HostGator, I would suggest you ask for a refund from your current host provider, then follow my video to get HostGator as the cost is only $31 for the entire year which includes a free domain name and a free SSL secure key. The are no hidden costs at HostGator and everything else in the video can be done for free. Keep me posed on your progress
