This was very helpful, when selling products as a set, if you already packaged the products yourself as a set before shipping would you still need to add the “sold as set” icon for prep?

Hi thanks for this really informative video. Can I just check as getting a bit confused - is the box label that's generated as part of the shipping plan, different to the FNSKU barcode? If so, do I also need a FNSKU barcode and how do I generate this? I have the FNSKU number, but this isn't generated onto that box label? Sorry, hope I'm making some sense Thanks

Thank you for this video, it is extremely informative. I Have a question. I wanted my supplier to print the GTIN barcode (GSI's ) on the product. Should I have the GTIN code embedded into the packaging of the individual units and have the FNSKU stuck on with the sticky labels or just have the FNSKU embedded on to the individual units?

When setting up the shipping plan, do I need to send the whole shipment to FBA centers?? I don't want to pay FBA storage prices for my entire shipment. Does the shipping plan enable you to send SOME of the inventory to FBA distribution centers, but send the rest to AWD? And then have Amazon restock my FBA supply from AWD as needed?

You only need to create a shipping plan for whatever you're sending to Amazon. You can do whatever you want with your inventory that isn't going to Amazon, they don't care what you do with it. If you want to use AWD, then you need to create a shipping plan through AWD.

Hi, Thanks for great video! I'm still a bit confused, I will be shipping my first order, from China, they will ship DDP without me using a freight forwarder ( All still confusing at this point) . Do I create a shipping plan, pay Amazon shipping then send labels to manufacture ? I'm so confused with creating the shipping plan,. The manufacturer had giving me a price for shipping but I can not create a shipping plan with out a cost and i need to get an address to ship products to. Could you clarify how I go about creating this for my scenario?

Its one FNSKU per Unit of Sale. If you have 6 different fragrances and each are sold separately, then you should have 6 different FNSKU's, on per different fragrance. It goes back to the "one red toothbrush " example in the video. However, if you sell them in a bundle, so 2 random fragrances per Unit of Sale, then yes, you could do one FNSKU. In your example, assuming you're still talking FBA, you would have 6 Units of Sale packaged in each 12 box case you're sending to Amazon. Hope that helps.

Can you explain the freight forwarder or agent process? I am shipping from a China supplier, picked the ship date on the FBA ship to Amazon option, but do i need to set up an agent separately?

If you didn’t choose the Partnered Carrier option then you have to arrange the shipment. I went over this in the video.

@CrescentKao I chose that and the areange for pick up option when you pick the delivery date. Then the pick up time. Supplier said Magnet can't transport. Was that not the correct way to do it?

When using a partnered carrier option, do they take care of the tax and duties or is that going to be charged to the seller? if so, how can you know how much these fees are?

Amazon will bill you the duties. They don’t always know what it will be until the shipment goes through customs.
