Great video, I have a question, how did you make the target image go invisible when you scan it? did you apply the depth mask also ?
@dehaproject Жыл бұрын
Do you know how to do it?
@placebo_yue4 жыл бұрын
To save some people 7 minutes, use depth mask material on planes all around your image target, and place whatever you wanna be seen thru the "window" below the image target.

Hello, good video, I have a problem, I am developing an AR app with Vuforia that consists of a 3D model to learn human anatomy, with the touch I can rotate, scale, move and select each part of the body and it shows me a label, I also have buttons; ** that when the 3D model is in the same direction as a Canvas button, pressing it also selects the 3D Model ** How can I make sure that the Model is not selected when I press a button?

Can we make this effect with a video playing in loop in the background instead of the 3D office environment?

I still see my target, and not through it. Anyone has any idea where I might have screwed up? Thanks.

Thank you :) I have created an AR App for a personal project inspired by your tutorial. If you're interested in being a tester, let me know and I'll have TestFlight send you an invite.

bro what kind of webcam do you use ? it says that in your webcam in vuforia config that there was no webcam profile what do you do ?
@CubicBrain6 жыл бұрын
Hi, I have been using two types. one is a microsoft kinnect 360 with a "kinnect cam driver", and the other is just a random cheap "logilink". you don't strictly have to have a webcam profile. mine works fine without.

Hi, Sorry unfortunately no, but most of the assets are from the unity asset store, only the custom code is new.

Why have Datasets gone missing in the last few releases of Vuforia? I've gone down the ARCore road. That's just it with Unity and their total disregard for back-compatability. The learning curve here is so fucked up. You progress and then with the next release, stuff is deprecated, MathewHallberg says what versions of Unity and Vuforia he is working on, so we fill our hard drives with literally terrabytes of releases too mix and match too go along with the tutorials. We get it sorted. Working fine. We are proud. We feel we are progressing. Then what do Unity go and do They bring out another release which we buy into and download, FOMO and what do we find? Our preious app is busted and we have to reverse engineer the whole fucking lot. One step forwards, countless steps back. My weapon of choice has always been Unreal but a bit screwed with my mediocre knowledge of C++ so have to bite the bullet and deal with this bollox. Rant over. Edit: Good video though nonetheless Brian

Hi David, yeah often a lot changes in new releases. Mostly I would recommend sticking with their LTS for production grade stuff (unless you absolutely need the new fancy features). But yeah, a lot seems to change from release to release. Thanks for the complement btw!

WoW ... and I utterly failed in my test. Surely will see the vid again to get anywhere near what you managed to get there; lolz
