They were down the sides of my old pond liner (mainly dried out pond) before my pond refurb. Brilliant animals. Well done for thinking about them.

It's so cute how you pine for slow worms on your property ^^ I can totally relate! They are very sweet little souls indeed. I think they like dampness, if you have an old wooden flat piece of wood, just throw it down somewhere, they'll probably congregate under that too. Or a big flat rock that you can slightly prop up with boards or other rocks.

Hi, sorry but i still didnt get answer to my question about tree ferns, sorry for bothering you again, but i would like to ask about securing it. I watched all your videos about it, but im wondering, if when its secured, do you put any additional cover above it? Because i am worried, that when your wrapping get soaked in the rain or wet snow and then freezing temperatures will come it will freeze them. Also should i water my tree ferns in winter? I live in Poland and couldnt find any info covering it in any of your videos, we have little lower temperatures in winter getting up to even -20 or -25 degrees Celcius, should i water tree ferns in that season all the time / only when they getting more dry or just stop it all together for the winter? Maybe do you hide her into some special kind of room? Kind regards from Poland!

Hi. Please watch tree fern winter protection on my channel. I wrap in insulation made from recycled bottles which does not absorb water so it does not soak, it drains. I stop watering in winter. I put oak leaves in the top . If you search "winter" it will pop up. Thanks mark
