Excellent video. Question about the link generated by publishing the template on Notion. It's a public link. So even though people pay to get that link, once they have that link, they can send it to their friends correct? Is there a way to password protect that link by user that purchases (like a random generated password)? Thoughts?

I am making a to-do list templete where I The consumer do need to alter the list based on his preferences so if I disable the edit option while sharing how they can alter their list.. So sir i do want to allow some of the table in the notion to be altered rather than altering the whole templete so can you guide me sir please....!!!

Well, there is no way to prevent this. You can however add a form of watermark, that symbolises, that its YOUR template, that way people can realise they are copying

A bit of some good bad advice...if you can't beat them, make money from them. Put up some templates for wholesalers or resellers. Or add an affiliate link for resellers?

Hi Aurelius, I have a question, I've created a template I'd like to sell. But I also use the original myself so I duplicated my original template to make a blank version (not fully blank just without all my details in it) this is the version I'll sell. I've noticed when I delete or change things in the version I'm preparing to sell, my original template doesn't change...this is obviously a good thing...except for the calendar. When I delete things from the duplicated calendar it deletes it from my personal version too. What am I doing wrong would so appreciate any insight. Regards, Tiff

Hi, I'm pretty sure calendars in notion are databases, and in this case you are using the same one, just erase the calendar from the template you want to sell (this will not delete the original one), and add a new one with a new database on that spot (replacing the old calendar)

Yep, unfortunately it can happen, but most customers are respectful and do the right thing. It’s out of your control if it gets shared. All you can do is make the copyright clear and have terms of use in place. Don’t let it stop you from selling templates though. I’ve sold over 200 different digital products in the past and illegal sharing happens many times. I just learned to focus on those who are loyal.
