Of course. I have a question about video editing. Alright so i have this project where I need to add a really cool 3d animation in the very beginning. I went and got a template from ifresh put it in blender edited my text on the animation and changed the output to 1920x1080 and the final animation looks great except for the huge black bars and the words by elliotFX on the final rendered piece. How do I remove this? The animation in blender never shows any black bars or any text on the image, it only shows up after i've spent the time to render it. So far i've unchecked all the meta data options but that's it, I can't think of anything else because this is all I've used blender for and it's my first project so I don't know how to use any tools or how to fix any issues like this. I hope you can help out, thanks again for the great content!
@SurfacedStudio8 жыл бұрын
Sounds more like the template you have is watermarked - check their licenses
@jacobfalk48278 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's what it looks like. Can I check their licenses via blender? Or do you mean check their licences through where I downloaded it?

I basically have 2 questions: First of all in 0:34 how did you make the titles disappear, it looks like they have been erased. And Second in 0:44 how did you create these titles (which fond / did you use a tracking mask for the colour?) and how did you make the "Animate" look like this? Did you use keyframes or is there another easier way of doing that? I hope these aren't too many questions and please answer to all of them :D By the way another awesome video! Love your videos :D
@SurfacedStudio9 жыл бұрын
+16ZeichenSindZuW Hi, all the titles you see in this video were created using the exact same techniques I show in this tutorial :) There are no magic tricks (e.g. After Effects), it's all just simple keyframes (e.g. on Opacity for the fade out) and simple effects.
@16zeichensindzuw969 жыл бұрын
+Surfaced Studio Okaay, thanks :D I already have another question! How can I make only one part of a video object disappear (just like the erasing stuff), because if I try to move the opacity mask it moves along with the object, so it doesn't really work how I want it to. Please tell me the secret :D And another little question: Are you german? I just read a comment that asked you the same but I didn't really get if you've been serious :D If you really are, it would make it much easier for me to explain the problem with this kind of erasing stuff :D

Thank you for your awesome feedback! The easiest way to get a sequence to match your aspect ratio / frame rate is to simply drop the footage onto the 'New Item' button :)

Great tutorials but I really want to know how I can make a title go away behind an object. For example a title is up and as a character walks across the screen he walks in front of the title and it disappears after he's passed each letter
@SurfacedStudio8 жыл бұрын
You need to cut the person out and overlay him on top of the title. Or you need to cut an animated 'hole' into the title as the person moves so the title appears behind the actor
@rjani23759 жыл бұрын
Can your advanced morphing tutorial be also used to morph one person another? Ex. Agent Smith morphing into other people from the Matrix?
@SurfacedStudio9 жыл бұрын
+R Jani In general yes though it won't look quite as 'pro'. The Matrix effects were done by actual professionals using rather sophisticated 3D transforms
@rjani23759 жыл бұрын
Sophisticated......like something morre advanced than 3DS Max?
@SurfacedStudio8 жыл бұрын
Hardly any pro quality effects are done with a single tool any more. 3dsMax can be used for some VERY advanced stuff though - if you know how
@rjani23758 жыл бұрын
Oh, I'm currently using Cinema 4D to animate the bullet going past my actor. Agreed, it's not Hollywood quality, but at the same time, I'm pretty sure no normal person can pull this off easily unless they know how.

You can use After Effects and use an expression to animate some opacity effect, there is nothing in Premiere Pro to do that. It would take you however less time to cut a layer into 10 parts than it would to read this message :)
