Of course. I have a question about video editing. Alright so i have this project where I need to add a really cool 3d animation in the very beginning. I went and got a template from ifresh put it in blender edited my text on the animation and changed the output to 1920x1080 and the final animation looks great except for the huge black bars and the words by elliotFX on the final rendered piece. How do I remove this? The animation in blender never shows any black bars or any text on the image, it only shows up after i've spent the time to render it. So far i've unchecked all the meta data options but that's it, I can't think of anything else because this is all I've used blender for and it's my first project so I don't know how to use any tools or how to fix any issues like this. I hope you can help out, thanks again for the great content!

I basically have 2 questions: First of all in 0:34 how did you make the titles disappear, it looks like they have been erased. And Second in 0:44 how did you create these titles (which fond / did you use a tracking mask for the colour?) and how did you make the "Animate" look like this? Did you use keyframes or is there another easier way of doing that? I hope these aren't too many questions and please answer to all of them :D By the way another awesome video! Love your videos :D
@SurfacedStudio
@SurfacedStudio 9 жыл бұрын
+16ZeichenSindZuW Hi, all the titles you see in this video were created using the exact same techniques I show in this tutorial :) There are no magic tricks (e.g. After Effects), it's all just simple keyframes (e.g. on Opacity for the fade out) and simple effects.
@16zeichensindzuw96
@16zeichensindzuw96 9 жыл бұрын
+Surfaced Studio Okaay, thanks :D I already have another question! How can I make only one part of a video object disappear (just like the erasing stuff), because if I try to move the opacity mask it moves along with the object, so it doesn't really work how I want it to. Please tell me the secret :D And another little question: Are you german? I just read a comment that asked you the same but I didn't really get if you've been serious :D If you really are, it would make it much easier for me to explain the problem with this kind of erasing stuff :D

Thank you for this. I really appreciate you making these in-depth and thorough tutorials. May I ask for some tips if you don't mind? Recently I've been trying to improve my editing and I have a difficult time with aspect ratios and sequences. I just never seem to get it right even using custom settings. But anyways, thanks for making these and continue what you do best. -Cheers.
@SurfacedStudio
@SurfacedStudio 7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your awesome feedback! The easiest way to get a sequence to match your aspect ratio / frame rate is to simply drop the footage onto the 'New Item' button :)

Most of my titles are created using Adobe After Effects - it's a bit more powerful for animation and VFX and motion graphics. Premiere Pro is really more just for compositing. Here's a beginner series if you're new to all of this :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqrZqoWBqdt6jrc

Tobias, it's a good tutorial that I followed and added several titles to a video. Every time the title is up, my video gets a little lighter in color and darker when the title ends. I have several titles added to the video, thus the video gets lighter darker, lighter darker. Do you have a solution by any chance? Thank you

Surfaced Studio You have many views on this video, and I suppose that increases the potential for 'KZbin proprietary disapproval'. Clear and articulate communication is, and ever shall be, better than "knee-jerk" reaction. Perhaps that should read 'knee-jerkers'.

@SurfacedStudio

You need to cut the person out and overlay him on top of the title. Or you need to cut an animated 'hole' into the title as the person moves so the title appears behind the actor

Can your advanced morphing tutorial be also used to morph one person another? Ex. Agent Smith morphing into other people from the Matrix?
@SurfacedStudio
@SurfacedStudio 9 жыл бұрын
+R Jani In general yes though it won't look quite as 'pro'. The Matrix effects were done by actual professionals using rather sophisticated 3D transforms

Sophisticated......like something morre advanced than 3DS Max?
@SurfacedStudio
@SurfacedStudio 8 жыл бұрын
Hardly any pro quality effects are done with a single tool any more. 3dsMax can be used for some VERY advanced stuff though - if you know how

Oh, I'm currently using Cinema 4D to animate the bullet going past my actor. Agreed, it's not Hollywood quality, but at the same time, I'm pretty sure no normal person can pull this off easily unless they know how.

@SurfacedStudio
@SurfacedStudio 9 жыл бұрын
+FXgamer k Hi, while that's a nice idea I don't think I'd find any time to do any Christmas effects (at least not this year). Also, I don't have a sleigh available as a prop either ;)

hey tobias can we get aother bigger advanced tutorial like for example how to create an apocalypse or post apocalypse setting.i know that you have alot of stuff marked before this but still.
@SurfacedStudio
@SurfacedStudio 9 жыл бұрын
+Talha Mansoor I can put it on my request list, but can't guarantee when I'll get around to it. I've been a bit short on time lately so been focusing more on basic techniques - surprisingly my beginner tutorials are also getting much better reception than my advanced ones :)

I want my text to blink like car turn signals but I don't want to take the time to cut the text into ten parts and time them correctly. Is there an effect that does this automatically?
@SurfacedStudio
@SurfacedStudio 8 жыл бұрын
You can use After Effects and use an expression to animate some opacity effect, there is nothing in Premiere Pro to do that. It would take you however less time to cut a layer into 10 parts than it would to read this message :)

can you use picture to scroll from left to right also
@SurfacedStudio

Sure you can :) Just add a picture as a layer and animate the position to move across (e.g. don't use the title editor)

Are these titles basically a way to add quick motion graphics in Premiere?
@SurfacedStudio
@SurfacedStudio 8 жыл бұрын
+Sebastian Lee If you consider animated titles 'motion graphics' then yes

No, I mean like the way you added in those glasses which are basically a basic graphic.
@SurfacedStudio

Sure, if you want to consider that 'motion graphics' then why not? Personally for anything motion graphics I'd use AE over PP
