Tbh, he reminds me of Opalinsky Really kind but thankful towards the kindness of viewers, trying to help even tho it means talking in another language... I think Ichika is one of the few youtubers that are as thankful (or more thankful) than his own followers.... I won't talk too much, but I just wanted to say that subtitles aren't a pain, especially when it's about music, or from someone who's willing to help and listen to his followers and private messages

it is so much easier to read a subtitle than to learn a language. Don't feel pressured into speaking English. I don't think it would hurt most of us online to read a little more anyhow.

It’s nothing new,. Subtitles from long ago. That’s how they communicate languages on film. The News etc

Ichika please continue to make whatever content you want while speaking what language you want. If it is what you want it will be good. I respect you greatly for trying to learn English. It’s not an easy language. I’m currently working on learning spanish and it is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever attempted to do. Practicing by speaking with people fluent in the language is what’s helped me the most. Looking forward to seeing what you’ll have for us in the future
@6ic6ic6icКүн бұрын
You know, I find Spanish to be very simple to learn as a native English speaker. A shared alphabet, background, and phonetics made for an easy transition. Also, most words have some sort of parallel, whether phonetically or by meaning and intent. Take the verb to hide as a random example. Esconder. In English, hide is not at all similar phonetically, but we have the verb abscond. To take oneself away from. Much akin to hiding. Almost all of Spanish and English share these connections. I don't mean to belittle the difficulty as well. For each person, it can be a different journey. I will say as well that *fluent* Spanish, or any language is difficult as a non-native speaker as it's rooted much more in how we think than how we speak. I merely thought of expressing my own thoughts on learning Spanish as an English speaker, as I've assumed you are by your solid use of English. Feel free to correct me if you aren't a native English speaker.

Ichika, your comment about how you like to surprise listeners with something unexpected because they are already expecting the chord progression or phrasing resonated with me. I think this is why I like it when you cover familiar sings, but with your own arrangement. You take something familiar (and perhaps simple, and then thrown in more difficult chords or speed runs/tapping in an appropriate place where one wasn’t there before. If you can do more “Ichika covers ‘x’” videos interspersed with your usual videos, that would be great! Please keep doing what you do. Thanks! Also, props for learning to speak English. Learning a new language is difficult. I actually took Japanese in high school for one year (Nihongo!) and learned just a tiny fraction of what I’d like to learn. But it’s great that you’re doing something to help you connect even better with your audience. Anything that makes it easier for people to connect is a good thing.
