This is the part 2 of my Chill Out & Ambient sound creation tutorial (check out part 1 on • How To Create Chill Ou... which will show you how to create a lush pad sound). In this part I'll show you how to create experimental and weird fx soundscape using Fruity Granulizer and a drum sample. Check out the non-video version and download links for the FL Studio project files and sample packages via my website: howtomakeelectr...

14:00 hahhaha that could be some weird alien. I wouldn't think of that sound being in a chill audio. That would give me nightmares. hehe interesting vids.

Thanks for watching this, everyone! I admit this is a bit on the experimental side (alien taking a poop like someone said hehe), but hopefully it gave some ideas how you can create your own unique soundscapes with the Granulizer 8)

Hi, you can do that using the Time Stretch function in the Channel Settings of the sample - double click it to open the Channel Settings and adjust the Time -knob under the Time Stretching -section.

I'm a big follower of your tutorials. Been a great learning experience so far. I have a question. I'm trying to use the plugin 'Sawer' in FLS 9...Is there a way by which I can stop the sounds (from Sawer presets) from playing continuously? I'm using fruity free limiter to cut them off but I wanna know if there's some sorta setting in Sawer itself that could cut them after a certain point. Please find time to respond. Cheers!

Insert -> Audio clip -> Load (drag and drop) sample into it -> Click it -> Open playlist (there are all Tracks/Patterns) -> Just click next to a track to "draw" the Audio clip -> In the channel settings (the popup with the sound wave at the bottom) there is a label called "Time stretching" -> Tweak the "MUL"-Knob and see what happens! :) Tip: Click the drop-down menu next to the "TIME"-knob and select "AUTO" to maintain the original pitch....pretty useful for vocals.
