How to Create Custom Kits for Fifa 23 - Part 3 - Editing Colours and Hotspots

In this Tutorial Im going to show you how I Create Custom kits for my Fifa 23 Career mode. Using the website fifakitcreator... I custom make kits to use in my Career mode series. To make the kit Mod you will need two programs.

The same tutorials he did apply to the create a club as well actually. So you can use all of these for your career! Only difference is the name of the team in the editor tool, instead of your name it will be something generic like createaclub or something like that. The ID is one of the highest ones or the highest one like 111k-something. Can’t remember because I don’t have access to my pc right now, but should be easy to find anyway.

That would be the team colours, not to do with the kits i believe

Not too sure whether you know but quick question: Why does manipulating the colors work using the FIFA Editor? I tried to manipulate these values manually in FIFA Editor and it did not work unfortunately. Another question: When FIFA is trying to download the new squads it seems to override the coloring again... Did you face this issue as well and if so, what to do against it? (Besides not downloading new squads)

Before I watched your video, I managed to make a mod with my custom kits, the only that didn't work were the colors of the numbers - hence why I watched your video. After doing everything you do in your video, my custom kits no longer appear in the game (neither in the career nor in kickoff or anywhere else). I didn't change anything else, the mod is still active.. I even reinstalled the game, nothing worked. Do you have any idea why that could've happened? EDIT: I didn't make a save in career mode with the new kits, just played a friendly to see if the new kits are in the game. Could that be the problem? If so: how do I revert that?

Hey DK, thanks for the tutorial. Have you tried editing the kits in FC24 yet? I'm struggling to find the compkits table in RDBM (it's just not there) and it always defaults to white color when I get into a premier league game. Works fine if I look under edit players though.

Your series on this has been incredibly helpful! I was able to almost everything with this as you've described, but I've run into one problem with the kits. I cannot seem to get badges to appear for things like the FA Cup, or Carabao Cup, or those competitions. I'm using Wrexham AFC and I have them in EFL League 2, and all the badges for that work just fine. But no competition badges? I did edit the Competitionkits to add league 13 first. That didn't fix it, so I added 60 and 61 as well with no luck. Could this be a Hotspots thing?

Hmm, Honestly not tried moving a club into a new league. It could be a hotspot issue but more thinking its competition kits that might be causing an issue. Dont have a fix for that one sorry. Only think i can think is to check a team already in league 2 and see what the differences are in the hotspots as well as the competition kits.

@@theucvan1930 Unfortunately I was not able to find a direct solution. I have a work-around that works for me, but may not be helpful overall. So if you look through Competition Kits and Team Kits databases in RDBM, you can find many teams that have an abundance of competition kit lines. Chelsea is a perfect example. In Teamkits Chelsea have 4 lines: 1 for Home Kit 1 for Away Kit 1 for GK Kit 1 for 3rd Kit Each of these is set for League 13 which is the Premier League. In Competitionkits Chelsea have each of those 4 kits duplicated for each of the following Competition IDs: 14: EFL Championship 60: EFL League 1 61: EFL League 2 201: FA Cup 202: Carabao Cup 223: UEFA Respect Badge 224: UEFA Respect Badge 226: Conference League UEFA Foundation for Children Badge 228: FA Community Shield Badge 232: UEFA Respect Badge 2096: Unknown Competition ID Supposedly the way this works is that Chelsea's Competition Kits take over for whatever competition they are in. I tested by putting the following leagues in for Wrexham within the Competition Kits DB: 13 14 60 201 202 203 (Papajohn's Trophy) In teamkits I had 1 entry per kit for League 61. When I did this, I only displayed the EFL League 2 Badge, no matter what competition I was in. I tested FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and Papajohn's Trophy and the badge never changed from the EFL League 2 Badge. So to work-around this, I simply edit the RDBM Teamkits file before I do a competition Game. So I change the badge display from 61 on Teamkits to 201 for example when I play an FA cup game. Then switch it back after the game. Tedious, but it allows me to have the right badge when I play. I'm still in League 2 though, and haven't tested anything related to Conference League, Europa League, or Champions League. One thing to note, you will need to update the hotspots in a mod file if you use Wrexham. Wrexham's Badges for left and right arms are "Hidden". Their position values have a "-1" on them so they appear "Below" the kit. Hope this helps!

HI DK, thanks alot for this series. This might be a bit out of topic but I can't find any solution anywere. I'm having problem in my Create A Club career mode where the team crest in game is overlapping with my kits texture I imported. I found someone said change the iscustom in RDBM 23 to "0" which I did and it doesn't seem to work. Any help would be appreciated as this is annoying me xD

Not sure you'll know the answer with it being FC24, but ive followed all instructions, kits not a problem *touch wood*, but it doesnt look like its registering the team colours on the new scoreboard in the premier league. Literally spent the last couple of days on this. It's definitely a Premier League issue. Numbers and stuff work on everything else, and despite many attempts, and even manually changing things in RDBM with the league ID and everything, it just won't work. Also found that some colours themselves on on kids just turn out as a glitched kit in the game too. Genuinely made about 14 different kits until I gave up and reused a third kit I'd already made for the previous season.

Changing the name/shirt number/short number color doesn't work properly. Most Teams have just the same unfitting color which i didn't set up for them. Changing the color manually in RDBM also won't help, it is like the color is stuck despite changing the numbers in the RDBM teamkits table. Ever heard of this problem and do you have any idea how to fix it?

Not sure if you'll see this DK, but can someone let me know if this still works for FC24? I cannot find "competitionkits" in the career file, so I used the squad file but I'm having some trouble getting the kit colours right. I want them to be just black with a white outline but I'm getting black and white diagonal stripes. I'm in the Premier League if that helps.

Comp kits can’t be accessed the same way anymore. There’s a lot of overriding stuff in the background on 24. Mostly with the live editor you can delete the comp kits file but need to do it every time you load up the save which is annoying.

hey DK, hopefully you see this! ran into several problems recently. ive set my "shorts number" color 1, 2, and 3, to red for my home kit. yet ingame the shorts number color is just white. the shorts are also white so you have to look really closely to actually notice the number. very annoying. other problems are that my custom fonts arent being shown, and they revert to the PL font ingame (except for third kit, that one has the custom font), and that my away kit name and number colors are red on both shorts and shirt, when its supposed to be blue on the shirt and white for the shorts. would be absolutely grateful if you could help, thank you!

It’s a comp kit overite. In 24 comp kits are hidden. So either need live editor to delete them every time you load up or make kits that match colors unfortunately
