I used to be able to create a map from the app. Now I can’t find the action. It’s either buried somewhere or not included. Been pro for a few years now and I’m always hoping they will redesign this app to make it more simpler and work better. There’s too many basic functions that I need where I have to search and search for the action.

So there's no way to create/edit a route with the Alltrails phone app like you can with Gaia, Viewranger, Footpath, etc, etc... Using the phone app, can I export a selected "trail near me" GPX to Connect for use with a Fenix? What is the advantage of Alltrails? Just the "trails near me", ratings, difficulty, and user photos stuff?

Yep - I paid for the pro and I can't tell you how disappointed I am with creating routes! It is HORRIBLE!

When I made this you could only create maps from the computer version of AllTrails so you just had to open up google maps in a separate tab. If you’re doing it through the mobile version of AllTrails then you can use the google maps app or just pull it up online.

@@daneshappypace Thank you, I have sense figured it out. My biggest problem was I was using Opera(not very friendly with maps). When I went to Chrome i had much better luck. Thank you for your replay. Fun App now that i understand how to use it. I have just been going through old hikes i have done and planning new trips. Amazing amount of information. Thanks for creating the video.
