The first edit I did came out fine, but whenever I use the Template I create the videos show as a black screen... The Audio is fine, just no image. Any Idea what it could be?

You may want to diagnose your template. Add the template to clip and open the same in fusion. And check each node whether it is showing correct out or not. Make necessary changes to node and save it as another template. Most of the time issue occur due time resolution change and stuff. So keep a look out for that while diagnosing

Excellent end product, however I'm new to fusion and I got lost at creating overlays. You skipped the entire process 😔. I don't know what you did to create the masks.

For the overlays, I am using a polygon mask to create the mask. You can find a tutorial to use a polygon mask in fusion and apply that polygon mask as mentioned in the node structure.

Hey man! Starting to learn Davinci right now and this was a great video to start! Just a question, how do you make your node tree so that the arrows are right angles instead of a straight arrow?

You mean how the connecting lines right? Just change the type to orthogonal pipes. I don't remember the exact menu where you will find the option, just right click on the node tab and go through the option until you find the orthogonal pipe option.

Probably you didn't place it is correct location. Make sure the location is correct. Also, restart resolve after placing the file.
