Maybe 2 small things to your great video: 1.) In your video a test banner ad is visible before the user clicked on the consent button (at 10:40). That should not be possible. Ad should not be visible before the user has given his consent (even admob should not be initialised). Did you disabled automatic admob initialisation in your Manifest? 2.) The GDPR is not related to countries, it is related to citizens of the EU countries. Meaning: even if an EU citizen installs your app in a non-EU country you should show the consent. But there is no way to figure out if the user is an EU citizen or not --> that's why the consent should be shown for everybody.

I have seen the second question on Admob blog, the answer was: The triggering of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) message is typically based on the user's physical location, specifically their current location, and the processing of their personal data within the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA). It is not solely determined by the user's Google account registration location. So citizenship is not important for GDPR, you don't have to show consent dialog to EU citizens, you have to show it to user who is currently in EU.

@@berkekocaman5836 Yeah, that what I also was saying. The GDPR message is triggered by IP (change with a VPN will trigger it), so it doesn't make sense to show it to everyone. Showing it to everyone is shooting yourself in the leg.

Things have changed since you published this and I am also using Unity - but has anyone come across an issue with testing UMP? I set my Debug Geography and a test version of the form is shown (with the app name AdSampler TestApp) but clicking either of the buttons does not work, so I can't actually test consent functionality.

RequestConsentInfoUpdate method will automatically take care of that and check with the Geography setting selected while creating the GDPR message in your AdMob account.

UMP SDK supposed to take care of the display of the message based on the screen orientation. It is working fine for my app even in landscape mode on mentioning android:screenOrientation="landscape" in AndroidManifest file.

Have to removed all those testing related configurations [Geo location, testdeviceHashedId etc.,] from your code? This gdpr message has to be shown only for EEA and UA region users. Users from other areas should not have any problem getting Ads in their apps. Please check the code and test once again.

Logged everything and i see where error pops -> this func : loadAndShowConsentFormIfRequired in this func when fetching ( load ) consent form of admob gives Web view timeout error code : 4. ( error not about showing form )
