This is one of the best Canva intros I've seen. Kimberly goes at a nice, easy pace with an enthusiastic yet a calm and soothing voice. Not too rapid or overpowering, but confidence building.

Kimberly, thank you for this tutorial and others I'm sharing with my students. We're trying to get them to engage with creating infographics, but also see this and other sites as resources for their own social media sites. I found this tutorial to be very clear, helpful and yes, applicable for their assignments using or creating media.

@KimJimenez9 жыл бұрын
+Cindy Guevara Thanks, Cindy. You would have to export the infographic as a PDF or a png and insert it directly to PowerPoint. If you could give me a few more details as to how you would want it to display inside a PP presentation, I could give you more info. :)

I give the video an A or A+. Quite well done. The background music is not too bad, but wondering why you use the repetitive music in the background instead of just the sound of your voice which is sweet enough. Seriously, do you have a mentor or someone who said people like music in the background while watching video tutorials. The reason I am curious is that I do video tutorials and am wondering if there's a good reason for me to add the background music to my video tutorials. Thanks again. You did a great job, as usual! ~ Jupiter Jim

I wish I had seen your video before I started "playing" with my new Canva account. I learned a lot but I've spent hours trying to learn on my own. Your video gives a great overview. But since I'm a super novice, here's a couple of beginner questions: (1) I ended up creating about 30 pages on the kindle template! I'm relieved to know I can export only one at a time. However, I've been dragging some of the images to the template and then when I tried to drag them back to either my uploads or to where they were originally, they'd disappear into the "white" area. Where did they go? (2) Also when I searched for images, not all of them ended up in the images I wanted to save (they're on the kindle template but not in the upload section). So, where do you save images that you might want to use later? (3) When do you actually pay for the images? Do I have to pay for the ones that I was experimenting with but which disappeared? What about the ones that I was able to save but now don't want to use? Looks like you're going to have to create another video after all! LOL Thanks for any help you can give.

Great video Kimberly. Lots of good tips and instruction. I love Canva and have been using it for cover images, Facebook posts, infographics, ect. Issue: FONTS - I love their fonts, they have some really cool ones, but don't have what many people have used on the websites and social media for branding. As you know, fonts are part of branding. I've already had one clients complain about the image I created for her in Canva - she loved the image, but wanted me to use her font copperplate gothic typestyle. I tried to find a font that was close to it. Canva really needs to update their library. I would have paid, if reasonable, to be able to add the font needed for my clients. If you know someone at Canva, please request Google fonts or the ability for us to add our fonts. If anyone knows of a font that looks similar to copperplate gothic typestyle, please let me know! Thanks!
