@@technicyan So are Davinci Resolve crashes and Adobe Premiere crashes... But seriously no one would use Vegas if it was so unstable than what you are implying. It clearly has a healthy userbase so you must be in a loud minority with your crashing software.

I am actually going to College/Uni for Film Production to become a Movie Director, making a short film every week! This video is greatly appreciated! One thing I learned, NEVER cut off your actors head, other than that I love this video! Thank You for helping me! ^.^ I am the only student in my class that prefers Vegas over the recommended Premier

I use the aspect ratio of 1440 cause I can add the black bars and still get full 1080. I love this cinematic look, and as far as I am concerned this is a fantastic tutorial. A much easier way instead of using LUT's. A few years old and still a good video, I am using 16. Only thing is a few FX changes but still gets the same effect.
@cstwister6 жыл бұрын
look, just imo.. You shouldnt create the black bars... Instead I think a better way to do this is to make the video itself a cinema aspect ratio, what you do is you change the project res to whatever res you choose to use (I use 1920:817) and then youd notice black bars on the SIDE of the clips, thats no good, so go to the clip and go to the video event crop section, right click and click match output aspect. Then when you render, make sure you render using the same resolution and youre golden! No artifact in the bars either if its ever compressed because those bars dont exist!

@Dschoean2 жыл бұрын
I guess that depends on your raw material. For example if you do have night and day scenes. Then you surely want to edit it separately. I tend to cut the whole movie, bounce it and then do all the processing. This also helps to prevent your system from overloading.

There's a way to just paste it on all the clips. Ctrl-C on the clip with the effects, click that clip, hold SHIFT then select the last clip you want the effects on (Basically selecting all the clips), then right click on the selected clips, then click paste event attribute.
