Before u put the planet down u have too drag the direction of the planet over to the sun then the planet should orbit if u use other suns besides the yellow star u might have too put it closer

did u know that you can make a planet perfectly orbit a star easily? so how to do this is when you have spawned a planet, dont let it go, take your finger to the middle of the star and then the orbit will change. when the orbit changes, then let go. this also works with moons sometimes.

It's easy,first select your planet,next long press your screen downward until you see an arrow pointing the right direction. After that done! You now have a orbiting planet around your sun!.

To get a satellite the lafe on a planet needs to go to space and to create life on a yello star put the planet near the too cold area and make sure it still has poler icecaps

To find the goldilocks zone you go to the journal thingy (the book on the left) and you select your star and then click the wrench and select yes on "Show Habitable Zone" To put your planets in orbit around the star you tap and hold where you want to place it and drag your finger onto the star. All my planets get thrown out of perfect orbit, I locked the parent star in place, dragged my finger to it before orbit and practically did everything right but it still gets thrown out of orbit by either coming too close to the parent star or going too far from it... Why?

You probably need to long press your screen downward until you see the arrow pointing the right direction. And do not always hit your planet with asteroid or comet,cause that is also the reason that your planet might thrown off the orbit.

Also I discovered another habitable planet type So, you need to get a big moon and after some time, it will turn into a barren rocky planet. then add some water and there you go. It's a water world with large ice islands and it can survive a bit better in colder areas.
