Thanks for a great tutorial once again! Excited for when lenses can contain the users own landmarks. Otherwise this will be hard to scale unfortunately.

Hey Xulipa! That's available now. Using the Custom Location Creator Lens you can scan any landmark and bring the mesh into Lens Studio to create your own lens. lens.snapchat.com/31f90ae4be724522bb5bb6ff081be883? Let us know if we misunderstood your comment 😀

thanks for this amazing insight! I follow your steps as well as the online documentation tutorial using the template that comes with Lens Studio and I wonder if you have any idea why my custom location lens is getting stuck at "go to" aka does not find my place / does not place anything anywhere..(when scanning and creating perspectives all looks really good.. so I am out of ideas..)

Hi Martina, thanks for reaching out! The first step would be to test the Custom Location within the Creator Lens. You would want to view an existing location, while you are on location, and make sure that you can get the location to localize as shown in the last screenshot. Look here for more info: docs.snap.com/lens-studio/references/templates/landmarker/custom-landmarker-scan#view-existing-locations Then you can confirm that the location does localize correctly and we would start to debug any issues within the Lens itself. If the location is not localizing within the Creator Lens, then you should create a new location and ensure it can localize within the Creator Lens first, then replace the Len's location with this new location and try the Lens again. Please let us know if this fixes your issues or if we need to help you debug your Lens. Thanks!

@@SnapAR hi! thanks for the reply! So on the Custom Location within the Creator Len all looked fine. I found out that I had to add to the camera the "Device Location Tracking" and then hide the render of the location mesh for it to work.

Where is the documentation for Multiple Custom Locations?
@SnapAR Жыл бұрын
Hi Charles! Our Custom Location template has been updated to work with multiple Custom Locations. The template documentation is out of date and will be updated shortly. But you can use the style in the template to add more Custom Locations to your Lens. Just create another sceneObject that has a locatedAt component on it for each Custom Location you want in your Lens, and make sure to place the content for the location underneath that sceneObject. docs.snap.com/lens-studio/references/templates/landmarker/custom-landmarker

Hello. Thank you first. In "Location Tracking Projects" like Eiffel and Buckingham or Galata by @Snap , Scene Objects change their places as we walk and move. In our project we would like user change his place after Location is Found, but as i mentioned before; when user start to walk game objects shifts. What would you recommend for a more stable, stronger result and stationary objects?
@SnapAR Жыл бұрын
Hi there! We're trying to understand a bit more what exactly is happening. Are your new scene objects are inside of the “Eiffel Tower [PLACE_CONTENT_HERE]"? And are you only seeing this behavior with new scene objects you are trying to add or also the existing template art?
