How to create login and signup in MIT app inventor using firebase
Click on Projects → Start New Project. This will bring up a screen where you can give a name to your project. Choose any name. I choose OfficeBusProject as shown below. Click on OK and you will be navigated to the Project Design window.
Firebase Setup
The first step for us is to setup the Firebase database in the cloud. The instructions are given below:
Visit console.fireba... and login with your Google account.
You will see the welcome screen with two buttons as shown below:

Click on Create New Project button.
This will bring up the Create a project screen as shown below, where you will need to provide a project name. Note that you will need to provide a unique name for your project. Select a Country/region where you would like your database to be hosted. Click on Create Project.

Hi, you can use same database for login and signUp. while user SignUp you can use their email as a tag and password as a value. now whenever someone login to your app you have to just check that this tag means email is available or not if yes then you have to check that email password is same of not if yes... then open another screen

Were you using IOS? Try Android. It works for me. The extension doesn't work with IOS.

Sir, i have question. Can MIT retrieve the same user information that has been saved in the firebase even though after we refresh the screen? Or we need to keep on log in the same username and password everytime we open the apps? Help me sir. I already create the log in and sign up and it success. Hi Sourabh first many many thanks for this wonderful video. All went smooth. Finally when you hit Experimental and FirebaseDB you get a box and you click OK and when you click OK you get two entries in the Components and Properties. I do not get the OK box nor the entries. I did go and created the firebase with Google. Rebooted my laptop and the phone. What ever I do I an not able to make FireBaseDB to work. I feel before we click Environmental something has to be in the right place. That is what I am missing. Please advice. Thanks
