Excellent video! I greatly appreciated the very clear step-by-step directions along with the visuals as you went through the steps to create labels. The video isn't too long and includes every single step needed to successfully create address labels. I went back and forth between listening/watching the video, pausing, and doing each step myself to create my labels. I also took notes of the steps so maybe I can manage it again next Christmas without too many challenges. Some years it feels like I spend as much time figuring out how to create labels from my spreadsheet as it would take to handwrite the addresses. Thank you for creating this very helpful video.

Instead of adding the comma in google sheets, you can add them using edit one in Avery. Awesome video 🤘🏾

This video was well done. Thank you for taking the time and your expertise. I was wondering what you can do with the label sheet in the video. You printed 5 or 6 labels, but that left the remaining labels blank. The next day you want to print an additional 10 labels. There are more than enough remaining labels, but how do you tell Avery not to start at Label 1 not at column 1, row 1, rather column 2, row 4, as that is the location of the next blank label.

Unfortunately, shifting the entries doesn't seem possible. I typically do my labels in MS Word, and when I am reusing the same sheet, I just cut and paste to the slots I have left on my sheet. With Avery, it's a little more complex. You need to select the "Edit One" box, click the box with the info, then cut and paste that into the box where you have a label on the sheet. I hope that helps.

@@therabbitpad Not sure if I understand. Are you saying flow the label text into the template? That would put some labels where there was no physical label. Then I need to select edit one, copy and paste that into the spot where there is actually a label. Will that bring the remaining labels from the spreadsheet, or are you saying I would need Edit One for each label until I get to printable label? And by the way there is not an Avery Print and Design at the Google Workspace Marketplace, there is not an Avery Print and Design. There is an Avery Foxy, an Avery Label Maker, and an Avery Create and Print. None of them have the same interface as Design and Print. Interestingly enough, I can get an Avery Design and Print from the link, but I cannot turn it into an Add on. I have just bookmark the link and open it when I need it.

Correct. You would import the data, and then shift the data to the slots where you have labels on the sheet. I’ll admit that this is a much quicker process in a Microsoft Word. I wish there was a “start in Row 3” option. As far as Avery Design and Print is concerned, it does not appear to be an add-on, but a separate service that you can connect to your Google Account to import data.
