Thank you Santiago! I was looking for a video like this. You shared some ideas to get my Icom 9700 and 7300 working on linux with multiple instances of wsjtx.

Nicely laid out video. I'm only looking to add receive in from one radio once I get a cable figured out. This will help a lot. Thanks!

Thanks for watching and for the feedback. Receiving only makes it easier as you don’t have to worry about ALC amd TX audio.

Well done video, thank you. I'm trying to set up 2 radios for SO2R to see if I would like to use the mode for contesting.

VERY helpful video, Santiago! Now, I have 3 slices, 3 instances of WSJT-X running with GridTracker. But, and I think this is a relatively new feature add, there is a "slice selection" button up near the Receive/Transmit indicator on GT (upper right), so the Call Roster only shows traffic for the selected slice. I can't find a way to show all 3 slices in the call roster at the same time the way you show it all in this video. Did that capability disappear with the addition of slice selection, or am I missing something? Thanks again for getting me this close to the ideal setup for me! - KB0V

Thanks for the feedback Matt and thank you for watching the video. Actually the Slice Selection does not impact what slices are shown on the call roster, only the one shown on the map. In the Call Roster look for "More Controls" and there you should see a settings for Instances, with checkmarks for each instance running, make sure all are checked. This should do it, if not, let me know. Thanks for your interest. 73 de Santiago HI8O

how would i be able to connect two seperate radios to the computer
@hamworldonline3 жыл бұрын
This will depend on what are the radios. I have two connected, a Flex connected via LAN and a Yaesu 991 connected via an USB Cable. But same principle applies for any type of radios. Just connect them as they normally will to a PC. If you wish to share your radio types and model maybe I can help. Thanks for watching the video. 73.

@@hamworldonline thanks for responding. i have my main rig thats an icom 7300 connected via usb cable... lets supposed i want to connect a different rig, example kenwood (via signal link box) or even a next icom radio.. would i need two seperate usb cables and two seperate ports?
@hamworldonline3 жыл бұрын
+MrRicksho yes, for either radios you’re going to need a separate USB cable and set up a different port. You could use Omnirig to connect your CAT control software, as Omnirig accepts two radios. This would not be hard. 73 de Santiago HI80 + KB8SM
