it has to do with settings on your phone. try: on your device's settings, navigate to the "Apps" or "Default Apps" section, and find the option for "Opening Links" - make sure its set to the app and not web browser

It seems nice to keep on your keys, but I leave the cutout QR codes (engraved wood business cards) at offices, and with orders.

on a physical card, the qr code will definitely still be useful. this nfc method is nice when you're out and about or even at live events.

I'm not too familiar with androids, but it looks like on the andriod you may need to check the settings to make sure NFC reading is enabled.
