A lot of the algorithms used in MS word are exactly the same as those used in 'real' graphic design. So things like Bezier curves, which are basically neat mathematical ways of drawing curves, were originally used in engineering. But the math behind the curves can be used anywhere, from the Nike logo to MS word shapes

Awesome dude, so you actually did end up making a video for it! I knew about edit points feature already and pesonally use it a lot to manipulate shapes inside powerpoint, but would have never been able to use its potential to the extent that you did into rendering a simple sharp edged shape into a seamless, smooth nike logo! Great work! Someday this channel ought to go viral, and why don't you consider monetizing your videos? KZbin actually rewards monetized videos with more views, and it ends up in more people's feeds. Nevertheless, great content you got out there, you're one of the unspoken youtubers that actually produce quality content for a small audience, which will hopefully one day get much bigger, so keep going! Believe me, if you keep this on for 5 years, with some effort in self branding and video monetization, you're gonna be guaranteed hitting over a million subscribers. Thank you Chinmay Gupta for that comment, and of course for the suggestion for the tutorial itself! I´m glad you have enjoyed this. I´m not monetizing videos (yet) since with so few views, it would not bring me anything, yet it would just frustrate viewers. My plan is to record at least 100 videos this year (hopefully 200), to see if there is enough interest for me to keep going. So it´s pretty much aligned with what you suggest. I´m not quite sure if the channel would ever go viral, or if I reach million subscribers, but I would be more than happy to have enough views to pay me enough just so I can spend time recording those videos. Let´s see how it goes and thanks again for your nice words!

Thanks for replying! I like your plan. I'm sure lots of people will like your content, they just haven't discovered it yet! And the problem with KZbin is, they reward monetized videos with waay more promotion and viewership, allowing more people to find out about the channel. Perhaps even a short ad at the beginning would be enough to boost your views?

I don´t think so. The mobile version has a very limited number of functions.
