I have one and I love it. I wish it had just one more octave (for large smears, sometimes it falls short). The drawbars feel incredible, though. All analogue feeling, wich is great: no displays, no presets.

What I am trying to Figure out is how to get the YC to effectively interact with the auxiliary input on a Behringer Model D. The thing I'm having a challenge with is the YC MIDI Out appears to have to be plugged directly into the Behringer Model D MIDI In to get the two to function together as far as the triggering is concerned and being able to run the two units plus other sounds on MIDI Channel 1 through a controller keyboard. One thing I'm trying to do is use the Behringer Model D Auxiliary Input to function mainly with the YC Farfisa combo organ sound to add additional filtering and envelope controls.

you cannot change the pitch of a separate key. you can change globally by 1 to 12 semi tones

How does the YC compare to the other Reface models? I know the DX is intended for FM synths, the CS is intended for subtractive synths and the YC is intended for organ sounds. But since I'm fairly new to synthesizers, I'm not sure whether this means they all play completely different sounds or if there is some overlap or if one of them are just a simplified subset of another one?
@danielrauda46312 жыл бұрын

One thing I’m finding with it is when I use it in my hand the sound blasts out too loud at certain ranges. Can’t work out how to get the volume even over the three octaves. Any ideas?
@ReallyDudeYouGottaHearThis3 жыл бұрын
Organ players use foot pedals to control the dynamics
@jsw02783 жыл бұрын
@@ReallyDudeYouGottaHearThis I’ve never had this issue when using my actual Farfisa organ or my Yamaha yc20. The volumes are consistent across the range of the instrument and don’t jump out.

hook it up to a midi keyboard that does not have velocity sensitivity or hook it up to a more transitional keyboard with velocity that fits closers to a bigger organ
